To make a long story short. Installed the game Rift, yet could not install the patch without receiving the following message: "Another version is already installed, Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the control panel." {D7A022A-C132-4B6F-67B951117DE93}. After several days of Tech support looking into the problem and suggesting different solutions, such as: editing certain RIFT registry keys, totally uninstalling the game, and other suggestions, which failed to correct. last suggestion was to go back to a recovery point which I did. So doing I was able to install the game and the patch. The game ran flawlessly. However a new patch was released today, and when it was downloading, the above error message appeared and it was unable to continue the download. I even went to the extreme(?) of opening the registry and searching item by item for the error code without success. So I'm stumped and really confused. I'm running W7, Home Premium Edition and have all the latest updates installed
